Elders Connection
The Ambassadors Events participated in the planning and execution of Seniors workshops online and in-person, with focus on the following:
- Basic Computers skills for Seniors – Increased digital literacy,
- Cybersecurity Awareness for Seniors – Increased understanding of online risks.
- Seniors Abuse – Better ability to recognize signs of abuse
- Financial Scamming – Increased awareness of common scams
The benefits of the workshops were to empower seniors with information needed for them to continue to learn with the aim that lessons learned will lead to improved health, improved social skills, improved well being, reduced isolation, increased inclusion, self esteem and technology awareness.
